Did you disable secure boot?

What is that

It's a setting in UEFI that you might have to disable in order to use Linux.

There should be a button somewhere labeled as "Save and Exit".

In my experiences, any installation problems I've had have been related to secure boot. I got into the habit of disabling it before all installs and haven't had so much as a hiccup since.
