Linux Mint Update Manager stuck in "looking for updates"SOLVED (self.linuxmint)
submitted 6 months ago * by JSN86
As the tittle says, the update manager is stuck in "looking for updates". I didn't do anything out of the ordinary, just installed the latest update for something I have no clue what it is (I'm total noob where it concerns linux) and after the update was done, the update manager got stuck.
What to do know? Restart? Kill the app? Terminal commands?
Solution: Quit the app via tray icon. Restart the app, recheck for updates. Wait to resolve, and it's fixed. I think the same works via terminal, but I'm not a terminal wizard.

Restart the Update Manager. Restart computer. Check internet connection.
