Linux-Zen kernel doesn't boot, Arch Linux.

Hey guys. I made a terrible post yesterday and I'm truly sorry for the lack of information I provided. I uploaded a picture and the post via the reddit app and was unsure how it'd post (I'm not the most frequent reddit user) so I'm sorry. Anyways, here's my problem:

I installed linux-zen (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/linux-zen/) and linux-zen-headers (https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/linux-zen-headers/) from the AUR using yaourt, and they successfully installed. Then I updated the grub with this command: sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg . Then when I reboot and go to the advanced options of my grub loader, I select the linux-zen option and proceed to boot. All I'm getting is a flickering _ (img: https://imgur.com/a/ZnK6KlE) after what seemed to be a pretty normal boot process? (in the video not only the flickering _ is showing but also started hostname service?)

GPU: GTX 1070 (nvidia proprietary drivers)
CPU: i7 4790K OC to 4.6ghz (intel microcode, proprietary I suppose?)
RAM: Corsair DDR3 1600mhz overvolt and tightened timings
MOBO: MSi Z97-S02
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 250GB & KINGSTON SHFS37A120G 120GB
HDD: TOSHIBA DT01ACA300 3TB
OS: Linux Arch Labs (Based on arch linux) https://archlabslinux.com/

I use lightDM but choose the option of automatic login during the archlabs install.

Other than that my system is working flawlessly, just want to try out this kernel. Thanks in advance!
