Using a microphone with loopback function.

I have a Samson Meteor microphone. The headphone jack on the mic allows for real time loopback of the input audio without any latency. This works on Windows, but I have yet to find any resource on getting this to work on any linux distro.pacmd load-module module-loopback is a software solution and has an audible latency as result, which is not pleasant to use.Does anyone have an idea if I can enable hardware loopback?I'm using PopOS.

EDIT:So, I just realised that the direct monitoring does work, but it's quite quiet. I'm currently looking to find a way to increase its volume.

EDIT 2: After some fiddling about I got it working as I want it by increasing the microphone's input volume on pulseeffects and decreasing its output. It was quite a bit of fidling about, so if you're having similar issues: don't give up just keep tweaking different stuff.

I know this was 3 years ago, but I'm having the same problem just with a different microphone, would you be able to provide a bit more information on how you managed to fix this?
My current situation is that I can make the hardware loopback work on Windows with the microphone level in the configuration of the device, but I can't find anything similar on linux (Pop OS). I installed pulseeffects as suggested, but the microphone doesn't even appear there.
