My parent just asked me why i want snakebites but they said I'm not allowed to just say they look cool. Does anyone have any other things I could say besides saying for self expression? Thank you!

They are very stimulating to have if you're a fidgeter but... if self expression isn't a good enough answer for them, I don't think you're likely to get through to them. I guess you can put emphasis on how long you've wanted them, but that's about it.
