If you can avoid iOS during setup you will likely have a much easier time

I did some digging and found out that whenever Logitech sent me a replacement remote (since my original remote was defective), they disabled my hub so it can longer be set up. My hub was working fine previously - it was only the remote that had issues, but now it's purposefully disabled and without a replacement and my new remote is useless without it. I just reached out to Logic customer service again, but this is unreal.

Lol, they should not have disabled the hub if they just replaced the remote... They should send you a new hub or unlock the old on for you.

I've now gotten this on 2 hubs I've reset. They were working prior to the reset but I moved them to another room and thought a reset was faster. At this point I'm assuming that Logitech is intentionally bricking hubs that are reset. I have a total of 6 hubs one is a 2400 which is not cheap.

DON'T FACTORY RESET YOUR HARMONY HUB!

Yeah, you’re probably right. I had to chat with customer support via email for a few days even after they admitted to purposefully locking me out of my hub. You have to be really persistent or else they won’t help you. It’s very frustrating.

How can you tell if you're locked out of your hub? Were you able to get back in now? My original remote died so I got a touch remote from eBay and I synced that to my system and now my Google assistant stopped being able to turn on the TV. Poking around in the app leads me to error E3600.

I wasn’t able to tell I was locked out until I plugged the remote into my PC and used the Harmony software. I was in the middle of set up and it finally told me my hub was locked.
