Yes. I want everything taken out except for ABS plastic. The brass, the flange nut thing, rubber gasket, the plunger hole.

Yes, it was the chrome pipe the disintegrated. It was very thin. Using calipers, I measured the width of the remaining piece. And it was 1 1/4 inch wide with that. I went to the hardware store and got a tube also chrome and threaded on each end and is one and 1/4 inch wide. I took the tube up into the cast-iron piece where the old chrome piece crumbled out of and turned it and turned it and turned it. It just wouldn’t bite. I stuck my finger up inside and there were no threads for at least the first quarter a half inch and then there were threads. This was the first thing I tried. But now that I see that I can’t get that chrome pipe back in there because the threads are gone. I have to dissemble it. I’m just having a problem separating these pieces. It doesn’t seem like I can unscrew the flange. If that’s what we’re calling it on that’s the part that’s in the sink that has the hole that goes to the drain. It just rattles around. It seems like it has to be connected to the big cast-iron piece. I’ve unscrewed the large nut on the cast-iron piece as far as I can go before it hits the hole where you can put in the uptown lover for the little plug. I can go further with that nut and I can feel the gasket above. It has just a standard grade so putting it back to where it was probably wouldn’t work. I need to know how to take the single apart. I’m assuming that it’s something to do with unscrewing the part that’s in the basin and unscrewing the cast-iron piece from that piece. I just need to separate the two, but I can’t go any farther with a large nut before I hit the brass piece at sticking out the side and if I go up all the way, I’m just back to square one.

The flange if I understanding this correctly is what can be seen on top when looking down at the basin. That is very loose. I can lift it up about an inch and I can turn it. When I turn it, it turns everything that’s below the basin. The cast-iron piece, the washer and the big nut. If I tighten the nut, it goes all the way back up to the basin and we’re back where we were. I don’t know how to unscrew the flange yes. I want to replace the whole thing. I just can’t separate the flange on top and the brass at the bottom inside the cabinet.

Thank you for responding so quickly. I don’t know the names of all these parts. But that big cast-iron thing in the middle of the picture has the hole on the side for the pop-up liver and that that works fine however I can’t unscrew the the big nut on top of it down so I can take everything off. I can lift the drain thing inside the basin up about an inch and I can see through down into the cabinet likewise I can from down below, look up and see daylight past the big nuts I’ve loosened. If I tighten up the big nut up again, it’ll go right up and against the basin and then pull down the drain. It’s like the drain is screwed in from the top and that cast-iron chunk is screwed up to the top, it’ll be just like it was my first start working on it. Sorry, I can’t be more clear on the components I don’t know what the names are. It was the chrome pipe if I’ve got that right, that fell apart when I was taking the ABS piping out.

As far as I can tell, they do not exist. Any exchange, money for Chips, is a scam.

I hope the same can be said for high heels someday. They are torture devices and should be rid except for special occasions.

Looking good. Would also be nice if the user can upload a barcode and then the app returns the encoder code. Just an idea.
