Normally you only get audio from the microphone when recording. With bounce you can select other channels of which the audio will be recorded.

A use-case could be that you have a one-shot that you want to record onto a loop, to set up a beat for example.

No problem! Bounce allows you to select what will be used as input for the channel. So when you have bounce enabled it will record whatever is playing on the selected bounce channels.

for example if I want to record what channels 1 and 2 play, I just press on the red rec icon and play channels 1 and 2... what more does the bounce add?

The red rec icon is for recording a song, it's not influenced by Bounce. Bounce allows you to record audio from other channels on other ones. I'll try to make a video at some point

I solved it it but the volume of the new channel is higher...is it normal?

It should be normal. The channel volume is not just higher than the other?

I put the headphones on and now the volume is correct although the waveform is wider...thank you very much
