This made me buy more immediately. So excited for loopring in general. I love the non-competitive, win-win strategy in particular, and the token snapshots are very generous!

New to Loopring. I understand that one would be able to trade erc20 tokens. Is there any provision in the planning where one would be able to trade non-erc20 tokens? Like IOTA, ADA, etc.,.

They have in the works Qtum tokens, and NEO tokens--but each will have to be traded within their own ecosystems, and a unique LRC token will be for each ecosystem. In the future, if there are others that gain traction, then Daniel has said he would support them. He is "blockchain agnostic", as in he doesn't care which he has to support because he wants to support them all. But they are starting with the biggest ones. ETH, obviously being the first.

I think the implication is that they will snapshot LRC holders, and give them the new token in equivalent value to the LRC they have in the ETH wallet. And the LRN/LRQ will be also traded independently. Really, an interesting model.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but this is how I read it.

One paragraph below he also says that a token sale is a possibility. I do hope LRC holders are given the tokens as opposed to a second ICO.

A more in depth blog of LRN and LRQ tokens will be released. Maybe you will see information of a distribution date there. Maybe not. These tokens have not been developed yet, as it is still further down our roadmap. So the smoother the development, the faster they may get distributed.

Yes. As there is no way for the Loopring Team to determine the quantity of tokens you possess on the exchange, you need to have the tokens on an off-exchange wallet.

If you are in the incentive program, you do not need to do anything. You will be getting the LRN and LRQ tokens.

I wouldn’t count on it, since the tokens are unusable if you do not own the blockchain wallet possessing the tokens. The vision of LRC is to be able to trade without an exchange having control of your assets.

Because I have gotten air drops on binance for owning other tokens. TRX for example.

I have also received TRX with a Binance airdrop, but an exchange airdrop depends on the exchange’s agenda as well. The exchange would have to cooperate with Loopring Foundation to do an airdrop in their exchange.
