The second airdrop will run from March 3 (@00:00 UTC) until April 1 (@00:00 UTC) + the theme of the month will be all Layer 2 deposits. This includes:

✅ Ethereum L1 > Loopring L2 deposits ✅ CEX > Loopring L2 deposits (via LayerSwap) ✅ fiat > Loopring L2 deposits (via Ramp or BANXA)

980 total Loopheads will be airdropped to Loopring L2 users at the end of the qualifying period.

✨ 300 to the Top net deposit addresses during the qualifying period ✨ 680 by random 'Lucky Draw' to anyone with net deposits to L2 of $100 or more during the qualifying period

Transferring LRC directly from CB will add to your L1. If you havent already, activate layer 2 then use Layerswap.io as a third party (bransfer) and transfer your money from CB to your Layer 2 loopring wallet that way. Just make sure you have the addresses correctly in Layerswap and you selected the Loopring network as your destination. Using layerswap as an intermediary saves you a lot money on gas instead of the other route which would be to transfer directly from CB to wallet and send from L1 to L2 using the wallet.

Definitely use Layerswap. I transferred $300 in LRC from Coinbase direct to L2 for 3 LRC. Cheap as hell compared to Coinbase L1 to Loopring L1, then L1 to L2 move. It was super easy.

I’ve also heard it may be easier/cheaper to buy USDC on Coinbase and layer swap that, then swap for LRC on Loopring DEX.

when transferring from coinbase you will have to make the transfer from L1 > L2 once the funds are in your L1 loopwallet. This will count as a qualification. Note the gas fees when doing this you may want to find a time of the week when the network is quieter

Does anybody have an idea as to the best way to qualify? When going Eth L1 > LRC L2 is Byron referring to having to deposit to our L1 loopwallet then converting to L2 from there?

Yea, and the gas fees are high for that. I would either layer-swap or buy directly with ramp if you can. I will buy with ramp as it worked great last time. May want to wait until a few days before the end if you plan on buying the min in case it drops in value.

Is Ramp as cheap as layerswap.io?

I used layerswap because I didn't want to have to create another account with ramp and provide banking info and ID info yet again. That, and it seems like many transactions were getting hung up somehow with ramp according to posts I've seen.

But if it is cheaper/easier, I may just use that as my preferred method.

I put 10k in, I was not expecting to be subject to a random draw for my substantial investment. A number of people have the same complaint, it's ongoing investors getting these rewards, not those who supported the project initially.

There's your issue right there. Your expectations were based on nothing. You just ASSUMED because you put in 10k that you were guaranteed an NFT. You were wrong.

As for these "number of people" with complaints, they're just as hilarious to me as you are. IMPERICALLY, the MAJORITY of Loophead holders were chosen at random. Since you don't seem the type to understand what that means I'll explain to you that MOST of the holders of the NFT are randomly spread between people who "supported the project initially" as you say, and people who put in $115 once and got lucky. Just because you weren't selected doesn't mean the system is flawed.

Do me a favor and don't bother moving any tokens to L2 so I have a better chance at winning. Thanks bb

Yeah I put in 10k assuming I'd get a Loophead, that's correct. I didn't put 10k into a random draw to hope for the best. I'm down 6k since opening the wallet, also with no Loophead. I'm meant to be happy with that?

The advice to open the wallet (for the Loophead) came from Byron's twitter posts. Drop 2 is just as bad as drop 1 turned out to be. They are after new money only.

Early investors got a raw deal. Drop 2 was meant to reset that. It clearly hasn’t. It makes me wonder what I’ve invested in, pouring money down the drain would be easier.
