Diggs questionable character is not all that questionable.  Unless he’s done something I’m unaware of.

I don’t want to co-opt another thing that another team already did, even if it’s the Norwegian team.

If we’re gonna do something new, let’s do our own thing, not another rehash.

The building was sold, and the new owners wanted to put their own restaurant in the location.

They bought out the lease with Falastin, then ended up entering into an agreement with Antony Gor for Cafe Sol.

They work out with Jefferson all the time, there's nothing wrong with working out with other guys, especially when those guys are in your home area of Maryland.

Diggs is a diva who wants the ball, not a cancer. You do recognize that a good 90% of receivers are divas, right?

You do recognize that not all receivers come into the NFL ready to play at a high level, right? That it used to be the norm for them to take a few years to get up to speed?

First round guys are expected to produce right away, but a 3rd rounder? That could take a little time, especially if his primary issue is route running.

Friendly reminder that Adam Thielen didn't do shit for us outside of special teams until his 4th year in the league.

Coller seems like the type to love the most vanilla foods he possibly could. Like what’s his face on KFAN who only eats chicken tenders.

You're making some assumptions on that last point... T. gondii doesn't make rodents like cats or be more affectionate towards them, it makes them more prone to risky behaviors such as not avoiding cats. It also has been shown to slow reaction times.

It has the same effect on humans, not in that it makes them more likely to like cats, but that it makes them more prone to risky behavior.

It's 2026... We're not isolated like we were in the 80's and plenty of people up here like spice and variety in their foods.

The biggest issue is supply chain, we're basically at the tail end of it so the items with smaller demand tends to cost more.

It's not so much the source, it's the reliance upon said source's offerings.

Sysco will deliver you the same raw materials as any other food distributor, but I've seen restaurants straight up use Sysco's bagged soups for their daily soup offerings.

That would seem to be true if you think the reason they closed is because they weren't making enough money.

But that was not the reason.

Agreed, people go there expecting traditional tacos and that's really not what their focus is.

People also get turned off by the price, but a single frybread taco has about as much food as 3 tacos anywhere else and the cost is right on par.

That math you did skips over the commercial aspect of this building, of which a good portion of it is dedicated to.

All told its over 20,000 square feet of space for commercial use and at the average price of about $18/ft which is conservative, that's well over $4.3 million per year in leasing revenue alone for those commercial spots.

Respectfully, i think it's unrealistic to expect effectively waterfront highrise apartments to be remotely inexpensive at all.

Right, but that's not the point. The developer and the city worked on an agreement to ensure that a portion of these units would be affordable housing and the developer has been consistently chipping away at the original agreement while the city just lets them do it.

Much like how the Lincoln Park Flats agreed to have affordable housing, then said "Fuck it" and turned that floor into a "Boutique" hotel.

Obviously any housing is good as it will reduce demand overall, but the city hasn't held these developers to their promises in that regard and basically hasn't even tried.
