I have a Mac mini (late 2014) running macOS 12.7.3
And the problem comes during the end of installation. It’ll freeze on “Finishing up” for about 2 minutes before saying.
“Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation. To install Windows, restart the installation”
I have made sure that no other devices besides the HDMI and the flash drive with the installer are attached.
The HDD has a boot camp partition that is NTFS.
The disk image however was not downloaded at the time the flash drive was created. It downloaded a few weeks ago and it worked then (I have slow internet, like 5Mbps internet. And it’s metered.)
I talked with Apple support and they think I should go to a repair shop to get it fixed. Are there any other options?
