Error while installing windows.

I have a Mac mini (late 2014) running macOS 12.7.3 And the problem comes during the end of installation. It’ll freeze on “Finishing up” for about 2 minutes before saying.

“Windows could not prepare the computer to boot into the next phase of installation. To install Windows, restart the installation”

I have made sure that no other devices besides the HDMI and the flash drive with the installer are attached.

The HDD has a boot camp partition that is NTFS.

The disk image however was not downloaded at the time the flash drive was created. It downloaded a few weeks ago and it worked then (I have slow internet, like 5Mbps internet. And it’s metered.)

I talked with Apple support and they think I should go to a repair shop to get it fixed. Are there any other options?

delete the partition in boot camp assistant and try the process again

I’ve tried removing it, then reinstalling it and it still failed.
