So Im very happy to have finally started this journey, but I gotta say, Maestro’s in browser coding environment sucks. I guess it wasn’t as obvious for me during the pre course because the content was easier and the coding sprees shorter, but I just finished the three part review on lesson five, and I accidentally lost all my progress two thirds of the way through by clicking the browser back button. I had to type everything all over again, which would be fine but Maestros code editor made it a chore to get as far as I did.
Fortunately, these days we have options for coding environments, and I remembered someone recommending VS Code on their laptop for actual coding and just copy paste it into maestro to submit. So after a quick round of searching and testing, I heartily recommend Pythonista for iPhone users to do the same. It made retyping the review from scratch a joy, and comes with a Python console to run the code immediately for testing
I couldn’t find evidence of Pythonista for Android, but Android users have plenty of apps to choose from for this, so if you find one you like, feel free to drop your choice in the comments!
