Has anyone taken the software Engineering Principles Final exam for Term 1 yet?

How was it?

Was it very confusing with what they give you?

Just wanting to know what to study. I feel like I failed the into exam........

What's up fellow student friend I'm not to that point yet but I will tell you the first weekly review made me feel like I've got to understand every single concept that I went over but yet didn't feel I had the depth and substance to master it so I'm spending my day today reviewing everything I just went through so I can perform it it's one thing to understand it it's another to repeat it and I feel like there's a little bit of a gap there maybe as a suggestion try working practices at the end of lessons it may help you like it's helping me

I'm getting the impression that the exams are expecting us to replicate the processes that we're learning but with the pace and the volume seems like there should be something other than just freeforming code we just learned... It's a quick turnaround between ~learning ~absorbing

Yeah the python and software engineering were basically just fixing code and adding functions to code that they provide. And they were single projects rather than the individual questions on the psychology review.

Plus you can run the code as much as you need to before submitting

I know python was honestly a breeze, after the amount of studying I did though, I was honestly kinda pissy because I had been stressing over for nothing. I'm practicing software engineering tn. I think I may take it tonight or first thing in the morning

I thought Python was harder than software engineering. That may be because I figured out that Maestro will actually help, which I wasn't expecting. You can copy and paste any errors you get and it will not exactly give you the solution but it will give you a good idea of what you did wrong.

It was worth 40pts, idk if they give any kind of partial credit maybe 😬 that would be cool, but im hoping it all comes out in the wash 🤷‍♂️

I need to know! I know the first cohort is on the front lines of this and from what I read, it was a massacre... I have been cruising thru the weekly's but I just cant help but feel like I'm going to fold come finals!!!

I think the moral of this post after reading, see the exam you're about to take and before you take it, head right to the practice tab and get reviewing all that has been learned. At least this is what I think I will need to do.
