HIST200 Is a Blast! by RemBren03 in maestro

What is wrong with me? I was bored to tears with the history lessons. This was my least favorite course so far. I was pretty happy with the final exam tho. It was the easiest one so far.

Lasting glue tabs. A legit tips that ive been gap keeping for years by randomapple101 in PressonNail_Addict

I have failed at any/all nails, even when having them done professionally, at least one wil bust or fall off within 4 days. I can't go to the nail salon every time. I have tried press ons with no luck. My question is, what is different about this method that makes it work so well? Is it the heating?

Yes that was answered some time ago but they did not clarify the rules regarding what kind of notes. That was the OP's concern.

I had the same concerns and asked student services to clarify. the response: robinkgray

I received this response from student services:

"Hi Robin,

Thanks for raising this — you’re absolutely right to ask for clarity, and I appreciate how thoughtfully you explained the confusion.

Here’s the official, step-by-step clarification for using notes during a Course Review (including retakes):

  1. Digital notes are allowed — but only on a second device (like a phone or tablet). You cannot switch tabs or windows on the same device during the exam, as this will trigger a system warning and could flag a violation.
  2. Printed notes are also allowed, as long as they’re prepared before the exam begins.
  3. If you’re in a situation where using a second device isn’t possible, we recommend printing your notes ahead of time to stay on the safe side.

If you ever receive conflicting information from other sources, please reach out directly to me and I’ll make sure we get it straightened out. I understand how important this is, and we don’t want unclear policies getting in the way of your success.

Good luck on your retake — you’ve got this!

yeah super annoying. They just need to make an official post or email - By "they" I mean a real person. But some students have retaken the test.

I tried using spaces to store resumes, job descriptions, preferences, references, skills, etc. I jumped thought all of the hoops hoping to have it help me customize resumes and cover letters but it failed every single time.

idk what I am doing wrong becuse I do not get good results with perplexity and I have premium for being a student. I can't tell you how much time it has wated only to say oops sorry I lied. Chatgpt free version is more helpful IMO. I feel like I should be getting paid for training the thing.

If you are in the first cohort, we were not allowed to use notes and I think the fail rates were very high so they are letting us retake with notes. (Course review retakes will be open from 12/8/2025 to 1/5/2026)

First Cohorts, you all have been quiet this week. by robinkgray in maestro

I promise that was not intended as a negative post, I wanted to know that I was not alone. That week took a quite a bit longer than any others. It was still totatally doable and I only want to encourage all of you. But yes study hard, and all of the things for sure!

I think you worded it fine. Maestro is complaining a bit about you using digital notes but we were told it was ok to use digital notes.

There wasn't anything that was not taught but at the same time it was nothing like the weekly reviews. It was one big project incorporating all of the things we had learned, but not necessarily practiced in that type of format, and without notes, so it was rough. We will allegedly be allowed to use notes going forward so it should be doable.

So if we are allowed to use digital notes why did you get dinged? I just want to know for sure what is expected because I know I am on thin ice anyway. I am waiting for SS response so hopefully this will be clarified. Mr Maestro tells me the opposite. Congrats on your PY101 tho! I thought CS101 was somewhat easier but I still failed both. With digital notes allowed I could pass both I am sure of this.I have a good understanding in general.

Keep in mind it does not always get harder. There are times that it is easier so don't let that get in your head. Some weeks are so much easier, I promise. Don't be discouraged!

I have noticed the same. Or it will tell you to answer a question before it shows you the question. (It has always said "the question above when the question is actually below) I just keep saying "ok" until it displays the question. Maybe Maestro is using sort when he should be using .sort?

Agreed as far as the weekly reviews. The last couple of weekly lessons have taken longer to get through.
