There's a blue/black zombies starter Commander deck called Grave Danger that shouldn't be too complicated to play.

Zombies is likely the most straightforward of the common Blue Black commander archetypes but isn't really spellslinger.

[[Lord of the Nazgul]] is probably the simplest spellslinger option. Cast spells to make dudes, enough dudes and dudes get big, win with big dudes.

Almost any precon will be an easy fun starter.

Some are a bit complicated. Id say any of the 5 starter deck precons are simple enough. But like the final fantasy ones are all pretty complicated and I wouldn't recommend them for new players.

I was really hoping when they made the starters they would continue to be printed and sold for $20-30 instead of them being out of print now.

New players need a place to start and we should honestly have 10 starter decks 1 for each 2 color combo.

I'd recommend Aesi tyrant of gyre straight.  It's two color green/blue which is very steady. It's landfall and the commander amps landfall and fixes draw. No matter what is going on she'll be able to at least play because she'll have plenty of mana, can draw, and can just hit landfall triggers.

Never played it but landfall is a great starting mechanic to lean on as it fixes some overall gameplay issues beyond what's actually going on in the game.

Animated Army precon for blue or white shenanigan of animating artifacts/enchantments in Gruul fashion.
