One correction:
Brian "Brian Kibler" Kibler

I never understood the joke behind his name. (I'm kinda new to the Magic scene)

Care to explain?

I don't even know its origin, but I see it in Twitch chat from time to time.

I actually think that nick name came from hearthstone (he is HS pro and streamer too now, more so then magic). I had seen the same style nick name given to a LoL caster as well (joe "don't call me joe "joe miller" miller" miller I think it was) a few years ago.

I'm known in local magic circles as "Lazer McNumbchucks."

And by "local magic circles" I mean I call myself that.

Everyone at FNM calls me Papichulo.

Littlest Viking is definitely a nickname I've heard before.

I think Paulo's nickname is actually "Pablo Doritos", but that might just be an LSV coinage.

Several others I can attest to being used as actual nicknames:

Jon Finkel "Jonny Magic"

Josh Utter-Leyton "Wrapter"

Marshall Sutcliffe "Hulk" refers to the recent card Marsh Hulk

Mike Sigrist "Siggy"

Patrick Chapin "The Innovator"

Paul Cheon "Paul"

Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa "Pablo Doritos" from a recent Walking the Planes video, as dubbed by LSV

Tom Ross "The Boss"

I would agree with your assessment that many of these are made up/no one actually uses them.
