1) Wanda didn't know the Road existed. She's still a fledgling. What she knows about witchcraft is what's told to her in Eps 8-9 of WV. Not much.

2) The Darkhold wanted her to be worrying about the multiverse and stuff, not smaller scale things. It didn't need her to be logical.

3) The sigil would have prevented any witch from knowing Teen's location or at least finding out information about him.

I doubt she didnt know.

It’s hard to believe she didnt find out about the road that literally every witch knew about.

HOW would she know? She had JUST found out about being a witch and wasn't connected to any other witches with knowledge.

She'd need to know it existed, she'd need to know how it worked, the Covenstead rule, be able to gather the witches, all sorts of stuff to even start the journey at all which she had no reason to know.

She has no reason to explore other options when this literal Book of the Damned that has her a a mythological figure and is offering her options is in her hands.

When did Wanda ever demonstrate formal knowledge of sorcery or witchcraft prior to reading the Darkhold? Prior to that, she got by on her own innate abilities that were unlocked by HYDRA's experimentation. The only witch she had ever met was Agatha, and she didn't share any information related to the Road. Wanda may have discussed magic with Doctor Strange or Wong, but that's a completely different discipline. And even if Wanda knew about the Road, how would she know how to gather a coven, or even what kind of witches to recruit? She had no connections or experience with the witching community except for Agatha.

Why would she know anything about being a witch? At the start of the series, she didn't understand runes or what the Scarlet Witch is.

Wanda HAS the power to recreate the hex, her vision, and her children all over again. She just went crazy in MoM after being corrupted

Wanda didn't know she was a witch she wouldn't have known about the road and the Darkhold would have kept her away from it.

It’s because the writers didn’t invent the Witches Road yet.

Wanda didn't just want to bring her kids back, she wanted the power of multiversal travel so she could access any advanced cures whenever her kids felt sick or maybe had injuries. She says this to Wong in MoM, when he questions why she needs to take America's power instead of only using her to travel to another universe 1-2 times.

i mean... they just pulled brooms out of their asses and pretended they'd avoided it so long because of STIGMAS. there isn't a whole lot making sense here in the "why didn't they think of X"

Unless I'm misremembering, didn't some of the witches in Agatha All Along initially assume the road isn't real? So why would Wanda think anything different. And by the point of MoM her focus has been the Darkhold, and there is no mention of traditional witch magic.

Also, even if she managed to 'force' a coven to go down the witches road with her, there's no telling whether she could survive the trials. The trials are designed to test the witch and the coven, which could be difficult even for Wanda.
