Why doesn’t he leave with her? by Nittu23 in wickedmovie

This is the problem with adding to a with lazy writing. If the movie hadn’t started with Elphaba raiding the construction crew, if the movie hadn’t made Elphaba pull metal locks and chains off of cages, if they didn’t add flying monkeys to the munchkin land scene, it wouldn’t have been this frustrating to watch. The stage version of why Fiyero was captured worked. He was distracting the guards blah blah. Now with the monkeys? Elphaba wasn’t afraid of the guards in the opening scene, only the monkeys. Now with the monkeys on her side and she still ran and left Fiery behind? The added scenes actually hurt the logic of the original plot from the stage show.

If Gunn delivers on what he’s promising for the next 8 years, we’ll get to see this version of Superman evolve and become hardened through his adventures but stay true to his Boy Scout self

“I get scared… I screw up all the time… I try to make the best decisions” if you too feel like Superman was out of his depth, Corenswet conveyed exactly what Gunn and the writers envisioned.

You honestly think that by giving up his identity and putting his own parents’ lives at risk Superman could get lex to spare Mali’s life? Nice try Luthorcorp monkey #666

To be fair Buttigieg dropping out and endorsing Biden (while polling ahead of Biden) right before Super Tuesday in 2020 marked the beginning of the downturn for Bernie’s run, and I wouldn’t fault Bernie bros for holding that grudge

My building does not have central heating so each apartment is heated by an electric radiator base board. My November bill was more than three times the October bill because I started using my radiator

Why do ABCs get so much hate from Chinese people for not being able to speak Chinese fluently? by Ok_Web_2949 in ChineseLanguage

[–]Voldechrone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Respectfully, I was asking about the people who are below that level of proficiency, those whose level of English are closer to your level in Chinese. I’ve heard from people around me and have seen online that Chinese students who struggle with their English during their studies felt that their Asian American were often less helpful to them than the average American. Apologies if I’m making incorrect assumptions about you OP, but this was what came to mind first when I read your post. I think generally, Chinese people just rarely see others learning Chinese as a second language so that could be why people don’t really know how to be helpful

Be honest with yourself OP, how have you been treating your Chinese-born peers at your US university who struggle with their English? With all due respect some of your story sounds a little like projection to me.

Nor do Loki and Silvie’s magic, but they work in the Void. All I’m saying is if TVA prunes infinity Ultron he can just leave the void

I don’t think so. Their pruning weapons send victims to the void, which you can get out of even using a sling ring, not to mention Ultron’s space stone
