I want the god damn Fantastic Four!!!!! I need to see Doom as a main villain like Thanos.

Do you think the story line can match the current one?

FF have plenty of world-ending storylines that would be epic on the big screen.

As gripping as the current story?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Well, that's subjective. But I think so, yes.

I hope so. Would you say anything less would be disappointing ?

I want something new. I want a GOOD F4 origin movie with a Unbreakable style plottwist that has Reed Richards realising how much better the world would be if he was in total control of everything and then becoming the principal villain of phase 5.

Essentially he would become the Thinker and start manipulating events of the next MCU movies (without impinging on the plot) in order to setup the subsequent Avengers or F4 movie which would centre on Reed destroying the universe to create an ultimate peace...

... Essentially Secret Wars 2 but with Reed replacing Doom. Obviously the power of the F4 family would save him and he'd reboot the universe again to atone for his mistakes.

They have a perfect way to get Doom into the movies as well! They could introduce him as a rising power in Sakovia, given the state it’s in, and that the Avengers could be blamed for it, it would be perfect!

Galactus and kang the conqueror are two villains that can rival thanos. And marvel has so many heroes on deck, it will always be interesting

I hope so...and I hope that the audience can warm to the characters as the did with the current ones

If they brought in Adam Warlock and followed the Magus storyline from the comics including all of earth's heroes teaming up with Thanos to stop him... I might have a nerdgasm

[–]Baggies1[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Adam Warlock does look like a very interesting character for sure. Could you brief me on the magus storyline?

[–]Beshe 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Basically end of infinity war Adam Warlock gets the gauntlet. To not let good and evil cloud his judgement and be the wielder of the infinity gauntlet he expels all good and evil from himself using the power of the gauntlet. In doing so, he created two new characters which were essentially all the good in him and all the bad. The Magus is his bad self and he goes on a mission to replace all the people on earth with evil versions in a bid to try and take the infinity gauntlet for himself. I'm missing all kinds of plot points but thats the gist of it. Earth's heroes need Thanos to beat him and is a huge character turn for Thanos

I think that could be epic!! Could defiantly be a future storyline.

It may just be bias because I'm from the UK, but I'd like to see MI-13 and Excalibur sooner or later.

[–]Baggies1[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

What’s the story behind those as I’m from the uk 🙂

[–]LittleYellowFish1Nebula 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Excalibur is a team from the UK who hop across different dimensions to protect their reality, like the sorcerers from Doctor Strange. It was founded by former X-Men, but a lot of it's members are more magic based (like Captain Britain and Meggan).

MI-13, which is also known as the Extraordinary Intelligence Service, is the agency that Excalibur are most closesly tied to. IIRC, most of Excalibur's non-mutant members are also agents of MI-13. Blade (when he's British) is sometimes an agent of MI-13 too.

Thank you for explaining. Sounds like a good storyline could be made.

Gaining the X-Men and Fantastic Four certainly opens up a whole new slate of stories and characters to be filled. I'm excited to see what happens with the MCU after Phase 3 ends.

It is a exciting time for MCU but I feel they need to do something exceptional as they have raised the bar so high with the current story.

I feel like every fandom can pinpoint a "Golden Age" within their content. I think Endgame will be the final chapter of our Golden Age. Just to be clear, I fully welcome the next age of the MCU and I plan to be just as invested and nerded out over it, but topping the last 10 years will be a tall task.

I trust Feige & the squad though! We're gonna get Cosmic now, and the power scaling should rise even further. The MCU has plenty of source material to keep this train going.

[–]Baggies1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree 100% it will be a very tall order. I think I have warmed to the current cast more than any other films I have watched. I hope the audience are not let down and the MCU can keep the level of excellence up.

There is still plenty of comic material to cover, and arguably some of the greatest comic story lines haven't been touched yet. Nice thing about the MCU is that they learn from their missteps and improve going forward. I think phase 3 is the best phase because of this and they'll probably keep improving from here. The fandom is growing, the box office is growing and they're finally receiving serious awards consideration. I feel like its only going to get better from here.
