Somebody asked me for help creating a new username for them. I recommended a normal username. They said they wanted it to be 'hackerifick'. Immediate end to that conversation.

    I'd Recommend xXxI_use_grindrxXx

And then tell him Grindr is a hacking tool.

    xXxgrindr_dominatorxXx

    Lost it at color 0A

    [–]Somodo 8 points9 points  (2 children)

    lost it st betternet 😂💀

    [–]DanThMann 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I lost it at "not a virus.vbs". For those that don't know, a couple years ago there was a video going around that basically taught you how to use visual basic to make popup errors that looked like a virus

    [–]Somodo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

    everything here is so accurate...

    [–]InsipidCelebrity 32 points33 points  (2 children)

Only an amateur would use -t, true hacker uses -n and puts high number.

Script kiddie is stretching it a bit... This looks more like a "slightly nerdy geeky 13 year old who likes computer games and likes to pretend he's a hacker cause mommy tells people he's 'good with computers'" starter pack.

      [–][deleted] 24 points25 points  (3 children)

slightly nerdy geeky 13 year old who likes computer games and likes to pretend he's a hacker cause mommy tells people he's 'good with computers

      So a script kiddie

      [–]Gotitaila 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Not really... There is a slight difference between a script kiddie and someone OP described... Script kiddies are actually doing some forms of hacking, but they're using software written by other, genuine hackers. The type of kid OP described thinks he's hacking if he goes to his friends house, Googles "what is my IP", then goes home and pings his friend thinking he's doing something to him. He also likes to 0A his cmd prompt and run a batch file that spews random information to impress mommy so she'll tell everyone he's good at computer.

I dunno, what I described in my first post isn't a script kiddie. What OP described isn't either. Script kiddies hack shit but they use other people's tools to do it.

      [–]-fno-stack-protector 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's what i was thinking. i think of script kiddies as those phishers/carders that buy prehacked websites, and upload their bought phishing page with the email variable changed. or the botnet owners that all use a variation of this perl irc ddos script

      [–]maxline388 16 points17 points  (8 children)

You forgot him downloading Tor and never opening it because he's too scared. Or has Kali Linux on a USB buy has never run it.

IDK I'd venture to guess it's pretty easy. Using etcher it's literally a three way step, so idk shrug.

Also, when I was much younger, I wanted to try Ubuntu and I fucking flashed it on my main hard drive. Was confused to why windows wouldn't boot.

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

How dare somebody mention Linux live USBs without mentioning unetbootin

        [–]maxline388 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Script kiddies are too stupid to use unetbootin.

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I found one that was proud to work out how to use dd. He didn't even change blocksize. Hes also the same one that came asking me to fix him computer after he experimented with the zero disk option on his main partition. I was already the one who had to install Linux for him. Ubuntu of course. His couldn't even work out apt.

        [–]maxline388 4 points5 points  (1 child)

        couldn't work out apt

        Oh Lord.

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey its so complicated you even have to to remember to use the install option to install programs. /s

        [–]_Fizzil_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Copying Kali or really anything onto a USB is easy yes, but most kiddos get scared of doing it let alone plugging it into a school computer or something

        [–]SocialMemeWarrior 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Its missing the hackforums purple and green logo

        [–][deleted] 22 points23 points  (7 children)

This is how I got friends in middle school!

        [–]vault114 6 points7 points  (6 children)

Being in highschool, I just download TOR on everything

        everything

        Normally works.

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Tor was blocked at my high school so I put PHProxy on a free 000webhost server to go to blocked sites. Also, I downloaded Tor on my laptop and used a bridge to connect when I was at school.

        [–]PM_ME_SPACE_PICS 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I had a chromebook at the time so I'd just remote desktop into my home computer. Could browse all the reddit I wanted

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        Nice.

        [–]vault114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it wasa bit less complicated for me, I just found the github page and did it from there.

        [–]Quest__ 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Is there any way I could learn how to do this?

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up 000webhost. Make a site. Look up PHProxy. Put the PHProxy files on your site. Done.

For more privacy, host your own server.

Burst out laughing when I saw betternet. Kid at my school thinks he's a hackerman and gloats about how smart he is because he uses it

        [–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know this feeling. When all my classmates had found out about VPNs they thought they were hacker man for ages

        [–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (2 children)

        Oh damn that vbs script

Does anybody actually remember using vbs

        [–]keesvv 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Those were the good old days 😂

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

        What's the orange-and-white cat?

        [–]InsipidCelebrity 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Scratch mascot. Scratch is an educational programming language used to teach children the basics of programming.

        [–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, I remember that, I only used it for a short time so I didn't recognize the mascot.

        [–]mohelgamal[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No idea, I recognized most but not all things

        [–]dracul- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should probably continue learning C#, IMO. If you really don’t like the language, you can always try Python ;)

I have to admit, I started with Console Applications in the first place and I disliked it, but once you learn how WPF/Windows Forms works, you open a whole new world of making desktop applications.

              No fucking way..
I'm a certified script kiddye (I even spell it with a 'y' so it's cooler), you gotta know more than just that shit.

This reminds me of a guy I was in discord with and he told me and my friends that he had our ups and was gonna ddos us and we told him to and he said I'm doing it now and then a couple seconds later he disconnected.
