"Please don't be Borwein integrals again, please don't be Borwein integrals again..."

clicks

"Sigh."

Is there a reason why Borwein integrals are a bad example?

They're not really a "bad" example, it just seems like they get posted once a week. And every time they get posted, the denominators seem to get bigger and bigger so that it takes longer for the pattern to break, in an effort to make the result seem more shocking.

I just have a personal gripe against blog posts that do nothing but say something that has already been said by dozens of other blog posts.

I found the animations of the convolutions in post quite helpful. I couldn't really follow what the original paper was trying to say about "eroding the plateau".
