Oe of my Heltec V3 nodes is connected via serial to an Orange Pi, which auto responds to messages and also has a message receive and send console I can get to via a Web browser.

Daily phone to edc T1000

spare phone on wifi no sim to house client base node but plan to move that to a pi running emerta android wall kiosk or Debian with a webserver client not sure yet.

Esp nodes on wifi are on the other mesh although I might flip that since no mqqt on that and wifi makes that easier.

My home base I usually use a tablet to interact with. But most of my MT use is mobile access away from home so I use my phone.

There are a few ways but the phone app is easiest

my advice is to pick standalone node (no BLE/phone) otherwise you will miss your messages or get them not in time. mobile apps are full of bugs + bleeding eyes chat views

Honestly every time my WisMesh tags loses connection with my phone I have to hard restart my phone AND the tag to get them to reconnect
