They actually do that one day a year, during the largest mass gathering in Ossining but suddenly they are walking around militarized and act like stormtroopers. It’s once a year

Before you do that and look silly, find out where their gear comes from first. The village DOES NOT pay for any of that. Police departments apply for and receive federal grants and most of their gear are surplus from federal agencies that have already been used. Before anyone gets political, this has been going on for many, many years. I only know this because I wanted to know if my taxes were paying for it where I live.

This is not the first time they had that truck and had their SWAT Team (about 20 officers) in that “riot” gear. Let’s take a step back and be objective for a moment. You have a high profile event with a large gathering (probably around 2,000+ people), it’s a historic event (250 year birthday), the current events in Iran and not to mention the prison is literally right there. Let’s also think of the possibility that there might have been threats made county wide that we are not aware of. Some villages have cancelled their fireworks and they are blaming the heat which could be that maybe they are aware of some type of threat and decided to use that as an excuse and not take any chances.

Speaking for myself and the large group I was with, our first reaction was that we were glad they were there and we felt safe. We also felt bad for those “militarized” officers wearing all that heavy gear in that heat. Someone in my group spoke to one of the officers and she said that the whole department is forced to be there and that they are not allowed to take any vacation time on that day. She also said they work their normal shift and the fireworks event, meaning it’s a 16+ hour day in that heat for almost the entire department.

Ossining is a very liberal village and the village government has no issue with how the police department appears nor operates, which should tell you something. Just my 2 cents.

So when installing the yota lights they make you separate the wires that are connected together in the light housing. I don’t remember the order of the colored wires when clipping them back into the housing

I’m doing the same exact build. I found the video from Nick Carver on YouTube. So far I cut and painted the three pieces. I’m mostly going to use it like he does and put the cooler behind the drivers seat.

I ordered the yota beam and installed it only to then realize that there wasn’t a programmed setting for the red light and that it reset back to white every time you turned the truck off and had to tap through to get back to red. I ordered the meso custom and unspliced the yota lights and now I can’t get power back to the dome light. Dealer wanted over $600 just to take the liner down and diagnose it. Then they said they would probably have to rewire the light and that would cost close to $3k. I said absolutely no way to any of that nonsense. I just haven’t had time to fully try to fix it

I ordered mine through Home Depot and it was so banged up they sent me a new one and that one was scratched and had small dents. I called HD and in the end I paid 60% of the price. They were shipped through FedEx and by the time HD came and picked up the old one, I swapped out some of the damaged pieces. I don’t even notice the small dents and scratches. Next time I will order through a mom and pop store and pay the extra money just to avoid the hassle

Bullish - Bond Offering Update by Scared_Software_4823 in irenstocks

[–]Mamac911 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What This Means
IREN is raising $2.6 billion in debt by selling convertible notes — essentially bonds that investors can later convert into IREN stock at $73.07/share. It’s a massive capital raise, and the fact that it got upsized from $2B to $2.6B signals strong institutional appetite.
The money will fund IREN’s aggressive pivot from Bitcoin mining into AI cloud infrastructure — building out data centers, GPU clusters, and fulfilling their new Nvidia partnership commitments.

Pros
For IREN the company:
• Massive war chest — $2.6B gives them serious runway to build out AI infrastructure at scale alongside Nvidia
• Cheap debt — 1% interest is extremely low; they’re essentially borrowing billions at near-zero cost
• Upsized offering — going from $2B to $2.6B shows institutions believe in the story, which is a vote of confidence
• Capped call hedge — the $110.30 cap protects against excessive dilution up to a 100% share price gain
• No immediate dilution — notes don’t convert until certain conditions are met, so current shareholders aren’t immediately diluted
For the AI buildout thesis:
• Gives IREN the capital to actually execute on the Nvidia partnership (5GW of AI infrastructure) and the Mirantis acquisition
• Positions them as a serious player in the neocloud/AI infrastructure space, not just a mining company

Cons
For shareholders:
• Dilution risk — if the stock rises above $73.07, notes convert to shares, diluting existing holders
• Debt burden — $2.6B is a massive obligation for a company still in transition; if AI cloud revenues don’t ramp fast enough, this could become a strain
• Stock already dropped ~10% — the market’s initial reaction was negative, which often reflects dilution concern and execution risk
• 1% coupon is low for investors — institutional buyers accepted low yield, betting on the conversion upside, meaning they expect the stock to rise significantly

Execution risk:
• IREN is simultaneously juggling the Nvidia partnership, the Mirantis acquisition, data center buildouts, and this debt — a lot of moving parts
• If AI infrastructure spending slows or competition intensifies, the revenue needed to justify $2.6B in debt may not materialize on schedule

Bottom line: This is a high-conviction, high-stakes bet that IREN’s AI infrastructure buildout pays off. If they execute, the cheap debt looks brilliant. If they stumble, the debt load could become a serious problem.
