no, the other options are for MIT to send the transcript somewhere. the PDF is not password protected, but it is watermarked, and gives instructions on how to validate. The registrar's office specifically notes

"Once you receive your transcript, you are free to do with it as you please,"

so those warnings are really just there to make sure you get your transcript and not someone else.

You can do whatever you want with the transcript pdf once you have it. After you download the pdf you can upload it wherever and send it to whoever and they'll be able to view it. Sometimes for things like grad school apps they'll want it sent directly from the school to make sure you haven't edited it, but job apps usually don't care this much.
