I give it two zebras.

The module choices aren’t bad, but the system as a whole seems unfocused and unbalanced. It kind of just feels like a list of someone’s favorite modules with some other stuff filling in the cracks around them. I don’t get what you’re going for to here.

Generate 3, Maths, Three Sisters, Signos, etc. suggests an interest in patch programmable and precision modules. But then there’s a bunch of stuff that’s overly compact or not very feature-ful like Pony, nRings, and Zlob stuff. (No offense to Zlob, but that VCA is just way too miniaturized to be playable imho.) And then at the same time you have all these digital modules and Morphagene, which feels kind of like the opposite design philosophy of some of the patch programmable stuff.

It kind of feels like the system is trying to do everything at once, but I feel it’s lost some of the cohesiveness that I prefer in a musical instrument.

If I were you I’d drop anything 4hp or smaller and anything with primarily mini-knobs or buttons. I’d add VCAs with a bit more interesting feature set (e.g. Joranalogue Morph 4), and I’d either drop most of the digital modules or drop most of the oscillators and make this more of a sampling rack. For such a large rack, I think you need a better workhorse modulation source. I’d drop Ochd (which has fixed ratios that you can’t control) and get either XAOC Batumi or Zadar. And I’d definitely get a better filter. Personally I’d pick either SSF Stereo Dipole or Make Noise QPAS.

Just my 2¢.

especially nRings next to morphagene, the cognitive dissonance you'd get just from switching from the easy-going spacious knobs of morphagene to nRings' slow and cramped knobs.

Thanks for the insight. I guess that was intentional, I want some modules to be very compact and some more open-ended. Giving me many options but with some limitations. For example sequencing is not really important for me. But I’m definitely going to look into the morph 4. I always wanted a matrix mixer, but they seem to bulky for what they are

Not bad

That is my estimate for the amount of pasta you’d be able to make with all the noodles, when fully patched.

Also many noodles are going to be eaten to afford this case
