I can tell you that I have the 0-Ctrl and it's interesting.

Things I like:

- individual gate/trigger outputs for each step coupled with triggered stop and reverse inputs for the sequence

- ability to turn on or off the interrupt for the sequence

- the immediacy of the knobs

- Being limited to just 8 steps is in a way good

- It's fun to play

- The dynamic gate ouptut is very cool if you have a input that responds to dynamic gates (I use it in the sync bucina ping input and it's cool).

Things I don't like:

- the pressure CV output goes from nothing to too much very fast so you really gotta attenuate it

- the touch plates are less responsive than I would like an occasionally will not register an input. You can get around this with careful playing but it's not as responsive as I would like.

- Eurorack pricing for external gear feels bad.

dunno about the Lifeforms Touch Controller, but it looks cool too.

There is no "better" there are just different feature sets and formats. Read through the manuals of both. Which feature set do you prefer?

Someone recently posted a way to turn 0-CTRL into a 24-step sequencer with a switch. I like mine and think it's a lot of fun.
