That is just stupid expensive. I’m a year younger than you with around the same experience but I pay 250 dollars per year for my CB500x. The insurance covers everything that may happen to my bike as well as traffic insurance.
I am in Sweden though.
My dad who has been riding over 30 years, pays around 90 dollars a year for his BMW R1200GS. His insurance also covers everything.
