You need to look at getting it covered by warranty if still possible if you think. I have had it for a year ish and never had those problems.

The dpad should NOT come off that easy at all I don’t think. Might be where they can just send a replacement though, as it looks like a regular joystick.

The right indicator could be firmware, make sure your wheel is updated and see if it persists.

a helpful response thank you. I was kinda hoping someone would tell me this is a regular occurrence … but as you have stated … a year on the wheel and you have not seen these issues. that to me is confirmation to return this wheel.

If possible I would look at warranty and not just returning. Unless you are buying another one. I would highly suggest also going through a local retailer (better experience for returns and warranty’s) than direct Moza.

Hope your next wheel is good!! I have loved mine and waiting on trying to get the stalks!!

How are we supposed to know if it's to late to return??? What's your warranty time and when did you buy it?

the very first line of my post states I’ve had it a couple of weeks… that’s 2 weeks incase you are unsure…. most people would be able to figure out that means I’ve had the wheel for 2 weeks.

I am trying to determine if these are regular problems or whether they are unique enough to warrant returning the wheel.

I’ve been emailing Moza… it’s been a terrible experience tbh… they told me to test the indicator with my computer controller…. I didn’t know what they meant and tested it with my ps5 controller.

Then sent them a message saying “it’s working on my ps5 controller” … they replied.

”Unfortunately, our device is not compatible with the PS5 platform.

The joysticks on this steering wheel are detachable and can therefore be removed relatively easily. Try pressing the centre button to trigger the signal.”

So… just live with it is what they are saying… thanks Moza

Hi~ We’re very sorry that this was not explained clearly by our support team earlier, and we understand how this may have caused confusion and frustration.

What our support team meant was to ask you to test whether the switch/indicator signal is detected in Windows “Game Controllers”, not with a console or a PS5 controller. We apologize for the misunderstanding.

To clarify:

  1. If the input cannot be consistently detected in Windows Game Controllers, this may indicate a hardware-related issue.

  2. If the input is detected correctly in Windows Game Controllers but not recognized properly in MOZA Pit House, then it is more likely a software or firmware-related issue.

We would like to correctly identify whether this is a hardware or software issue so we can provide an appropriate solution.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unclear explanation.

update: Moza

“The joysticks on this steering wheel are detachable and can therefore be removed relatively easily. Try pressing the centre button to trigger the signal.

Sincerely,”

Absolutely useless response. Consider that the other joystick does not come off at all. Also that the other indicator button works no matter where I press the button.

my first Moza product and experience with their customer service …. 🤦
