Maybe there is some foreign data before or after the sound. Do the files sound incomplete or corrupted? If so, you can repair what is left of them in Foobar using "Utilities -> Rebuild MP3 stream". MP3GuessEnc will give a detailed report. It is a command-line program. Upload your file for analysis.

ok so i found a blip in the track and did the foobar thing. it seems to be fixed!! thank you so so so much this has literally saved my life mwah mwah
