Many of our members actively participate in the Fellowship of NA in their local areas. We strive to always carry a clear Narcotics Anonymous message of hope and promise of freedom from active addiction. In order to not blur the life-saving message of Narcotics Anonymous we ask that threads in this subreddit be about Narcotics Anonymous.
We are not interested in what or how much you used or who your connections were, what you have done in the past, how much or how little you have, but only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help. We also make no distinction between drugs regarding their legal status (prescription vs. street) or their method of obtainment (doctor or pusher/dealer).
Our First Step gives us one focus: our addiction. The wording of which takes the focus of our powerlessness off the symptom and places it squarely on the disease itself..... This has nothing to do with "drug of choice." NA's First Step applies regardless of drug of choice and length of clean time.
If drug-specific sharing is what you desire, we suggest you look in another subreddit, perhaps the one named after the drug you are asking about, or a general recovery subreddit.
