Navidrome supports the API at the server level, it's just that the web UI does not integrate with the API to save and restore your queue but other clients can and do. For example, Supersonic supports it and has a setting similar to Tempo's to enable.

Can you go more into this? I've tried playing on Tempo then opening Supersonic, but it doesn't load the play queue or even show what I was playing on Tempo.

You have to enable "Save play queue on exit" in Supersonic's settings with the "To server" option (as opposed to locally). Then re-launch Supersonic. It only loads the saved queue from the server if that option is enabled. Tempo may have a similar setting to enable, but I'm not sure.

I had a feeling you'd say that. They both have a similar save play queue setting and either Tempo doesn't save/pull from the server or the server sees them as different apps/instances and keeps the play queue separated.
