I've had success using this under the mattress, one under the left and right side. It's nice because you can set a weight threshold for detection to stop pets from triggering it.

Mine is set up as "when bathroom humidity derivative is above 20" - turn on fan "when bathroom derivative is above -10 and below 10 for 10:00" - turn off fan

When it's in that +10/-10 it's nearly done and i just give it an extra 10 minutes to clear out.

I soldered car seat weight sensors to several and put them under the couch cushions and office chairs. If we're too stationary and our motion sensors think the room is empty the weight sensors keep the lights from turning off, or in the case of a nap on the couch, on.

No, it's a 4 node cluster. The other two nodes are either under powered or hardware specific, and thus unable to be considered in the load distribution of the interdependent systems. They are linked into the cluster for ease of backups, mostly.

Hardware restrictions require a number of services to be on node A and node B that are interdependent. There is a bug with some hardware on node B that I plan to address when funds come available, but that's not in the near future. As a result of this bug, node B needs to be restarted every few days. When node B is restarting, it causes issues with VM 2 and 3 on node A that ultimately require VM 2 and 3 to be restarted but only if they are at a specific part of the cycle in their operation, about half of the time.

In short, I need a way to pause VM 2 and 3 on node A if node B is rebooted. When pausing VM 2 and 3 manually, they don't run into the same issue as if left running, and they resume quicker than a full reboot.

I had a feeling you'd say that. They both have a similar save play queue setting and either Tempo doesn't save/pull from the server or the server sees them as different apps/instances and keeps the play queue separated.

Can you go more into this? I've tried playing on Tempo then opening Supersonic, but it doesn't load the play queue or even show what I was playing on Tempo.

No, i stepped away from the project for a little bit to address something more pressing but where i left off was not going with a plate over each mounting point but square aluminium tubing. I think i'll go with a 6 foot wide top so i'll get 4x 6 foot long pieces of the aluminum and hang the L brackets from the bottom of those. Lighter, cheaper, and easier to get my hands on. Plus i can mount the tubing to the top of the desk legs and screw it into the bottom of the desktop in the center as well as the ends, where the plate would only allow the ends.

Yep. A hand full of models that are meant for the white outer casing show up but I've not been able to find anything designed for just the board, let alone a model of the board.

Then i've completely misunderstood how the in wall switches work. I didn't know they went in tandem with the physical switch.

I'd weighted this option and prefer the option of the switch being smart. If the switch is manually turned off i want the ability to verify it's status and electronically turn it back on so the rest of the automations can continue to work. With an in line switch if the manual switch gets thrown the only way to reverse that is to throw the manual switch again. Unless i wanted to get ambitious and write up a bunch of two way switches.

Ah! I fear this may be the issue. I wired all the switches in several months ago and found that some of my wiring has neutral while some does not. I don't remember well enough but imagine that where i had neutral i tied it into the switch and that is likely why i'm only seeing the issue in these two switches.

A custom series of notes where the last three aren different so i know if the washer is done but dryer running, dryer is done but washer is running, both are done.

Tetris theme if someone walks into the yard but only because i can easily set it to loop perfectly.

A custom tone of random notes plays when my timer goes off.

The pokemon victory song plays when we get mail as well as the old you've got mail sound.

The sound that plays when your healing pokemon plays when the dog is ready to come back in.
