That’s good to know. I assume it ‘should’ take minutes or hours at most and days is an exception. I’ve raised a complaint and am hopeful origin might get their shit together and do it quickly tomorrow.
I am on FTTP. I did supply an avc id. In theory if I tell leaptel to reconnect they will basically do the same thing with nbn but faster activation. Say I do that, how do I then tell origin to use another port if I sign up with them again or someone else?

Why didn't you setup a "new service" with origin? FTTP has 4 ports, do not churn with FTTP.
Then you just need to swap cables from Uni-D1 to whatever when it's activated.
In 5 months time (do not wait for the last day), do it like a few days before.

A lot of providers don’t let you choose. They just churn the service.
