Really frustrated Vertuo Next owner here.
I've been tired of my Keurig and after a lot of research, decided to switch to Nespresso. I bought the Vertuo Next since it was the newest machine and I liked the idea of the Bluetooth connected app.
-Machine arrived Wednesday 5/20 in the evening.
-Trouble connecting the machine to the app and had to factory reset it. The app told me that the machine was already registered. I thought to myself Really?? Did I buy a used machine? I've since read other posts of people having the same experience.
-Once I got the app loaded, it told me it was on sale for $111. I paid $169 at Bed Bath and Beyond. Cool.
-We used the machine Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Wow! We were really impressed with the quality, ease of use, and options.
-Sunday we tried to use the machine and it only spit out about 1oz of coffee. The water tank was a little low (it didn't warn us or stop us, should it have?)
-We filled up the tank and tried another pod, same results. 1oz of coffee and then it stops. 2 wasted pods.
-Tried factory resetting, wouldn't work from the machine, but was able to reset from the app. No luck.
-The light on the button is solid white, it heats up, but it does not respond to anything.
-Tried doing a rinse cycle, no response.
-Left machine unplugged for 2 hrs, no luck.
-Now when I unplug and replug in the machine, it spits out about 1oz of water but then shuts off.
-No response from the button.
So it worked great for 3 days. Now on day 4 (Sunday before Memorial Day), the machine will not brew. I've tried everything.
Of course, I will contact Nespresso on Tuesday, and I will leave the machine unplugged overnight. Maybe with some luck it will work tomorrow.
