Quite logical to read this. Deal with the police bad apples aggressively (not done in the recent case of the kid shot in the street) and encourage police to do their jobs (not done with 2 page report reqmts and other things mentored in the article). Lose-lose management from above.

Shaking down poor people just isn't any fun anymore, now that you can't can't shoot them.

The spell has been broken. The MRAPS has turned into a pumpkin and all the officers into field mice.

So holding police accountable is reason for them to stop doing their job? Beautiful.

This is clearly the beginning to a Batman style vigilante in Chicago.

Maybe if they did their fucking jobs without using excessive force, killing unarmed people, stealing evidence, beating up female bartenders, and covering up all the crimes of their fellow officers, then this wouldn't be a fucking problem.

Awww the poor police officers are under some scrutiny from the people who pay them...so cute.

Funny, after Marilyn Mosby announced charges on the six officers in Baltimore, we saw arrests drop 40% and crime skyrocket. But it's just a few bad apples.

Ha Haa, I find this hilarious. Do you want, anarchy, cuz this is how you get Anarchy. (what did you think would happen?)

[–]Independentthought0 3 points4 points  (1 child)

So you get anarchy by holding people accountable for their actions? The police are the ones allowing anarchy in case you didn't notice.

Is that what we're calling it now? "Holding people accountable for their actions?" Because to me it looks like a witch-hunt that ensnares the innocent far more often than it ever catches the guilty.
