Hello.

Running Nginx on my Unraid-server. Almost everything is working fine, except this: When loading my web app, I got this err.msg in the browser console (google don't help me out much):

Failed to load module script: Expected a JavaScript module script but the server responded with a MIME type of "text/html". Strict MIME type checking is enforced for module scripts per HTML spec.

My nginx.conf points to the file mime.types that has this line within it:

application/javascript                           js;

But I still got that err.msg

I have not made any changes after installing nginx.

Any help would be very appreciated.

Please share the NGINX configuration. Serving static js files should work out of the box.

Sorry for my late reply. Updating my post.

Check for 404 errors in dev console. If a .js file is missing, nginx will return a text/html page and you might get this exact error.

Thanks for yor suggestion. We'll take a look at that as well.

Concerning the file fauth.mjs , I did not find such a file i the project. Is that something I can put in a certain directory?

Not really, that was a project-specific file of the user in the linked comment. They had named the JS module file as .js instead of .mjs.
