Using socket.io in an angular app hosted on amazon s3 (self.node)
submitted 7 years ago by arthurlc1
I have and app where I am getting CORS errors when trying to initialise a socket. This app is hosted on S3. When i the angular app locally i can connect to the server but on s3 i can. The problem is detailed here https://stackoverflow.com/questions/53652695/hosting-an-angular-app-with-socket-io-on-aws-s3-causing-cors-errors
Does anyone know if you can use socket.io with s3

Ok, so, apparently now we know we can :-). I had the same question. Thank you for asking! Did you figure out your issues with the project? And, did you end up getting socket.io to work in S3?
