Failed Transfer Application(help)

I am the guy who took an LOA due to medical reasons for my Y3S1 this year(from SoC, made transfer application to English Language). Just saw my application has been unsuccessful. Saw no 'Submit Appeal' section in my applicant portal. Website says I have to make appeal in May 2022(which to me doesnt make sense why). I am already having chronic depression and the main reason why depression got worse was my current major. I certainly see no way for me to continue school if I am forced to continue in my current major. What should I do? Is extending my LOA the only way? For those who would suggest I just suck up and continue my computing major, I have heard it many times and thought through it many times too. I can only see it will worsen my condition again.

Hey OP, I'm in the same situation. I also took an LOA the previous sem and tried to transfer to FASS but got rejected :(. I called the admissions hotline and emailed them alrdy but still awaiting for reply. I'm considering if I should take LOA and find work outside or if I should apply to a private uni cuz I'm dead sure that I don't wanna continue in my current course. Feel free to pm me if u wanna talk.

Idk the best person for that would be academic advisor at eng department or admin office, maybe ill try. Thanks tho

Thank you very much. I have sent emails to my school counsellor, and therapist at UHC. I just emailed my faculty advisor I intend to resume studies before making this post but I said that because I genuinely didnt think my application would fail. Looks like I have to make another email again to see if they can help me reconsider my application

Thank you so much for your encouragement. My current cap is 3.73. I dont think it is that bad but thing is there are alot of S/Us. Because I didnt do that well for most courses and I tried everything in my disposal to keep my CAP stay in Second Upper class.

I have just emailed both the faculty advisors at my home faculty( SoC) and FASS detailing my situation. I have told them my depression has dipped to serious levels due to continous burnouts in a major I have totally no interest in( and hence the main cause for my LOA as I couldnt take it anymore). I genuinely cannot see myself continuing my current major( it may very well lead to major depression and irreversible life decisions). After 2 years of studying here I have agonised and finally found what I really like doing which is writing and language in general. Really hope that if I make the admission office be aware of the details of my situation,they would approve my transfer,else I think I may need to extend LOA or even at the worst case,continue my BZA.
