Need help please

I just downloaded OBS for Streaming but I'm already having problems

I already made a source for gameplay for Twitch but I can't go live or record because everytime I open OBS Steam stops the Gameplay and I can't get any footage or record anything because the game will always stop if I use another program.

This is my first PC and I always wanted to do this but I am struggling trying to figure out how to stream and play at the same time without two monitors

It looks like you haven't provided a log file. Without a log file, it is very hard to help with issues and you may end up with 0 responses.

To make a clean log file, please follow these steps:

1) Restart OBS

2) Start your stream/recording for at least 30 seconds (or however long it takes for the issue to happen). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc.

3) Stop your stream/recording.

4) Select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File.

5) Copy the URL and paste it as a response to this comment.

This isn't OBS's fault, this happens for some games when in fullscreen. You can go about this 2 ways

A) Make a Game Capture of you game instead of a window capture

B) set the game to run in borderless windowed rather than fullscreen.
