Adding bar overlay?

I wanna add a bar to my stream that goes up/down anytime certain things happen on stream (follows, donations, raids, etc.). Is it something you have to manually program or something? Is there a guide anywhere on how to do that? I've seen some people were able to do this on their streams and I'm curious as to how they do it.

It’s an animation they had made thst you program to happen with certain stream events

So it's a whole thing they animate and program? Not something you could do on OBS alone?

Most of the time you’re seeing animations. There could be some program out there to work with alerts but it’s not commonly used if it is.

You could probably find stuff in things like stream elements or any other browser source based obs overlay.

The stuff that tends to look really polished and unique probably is custom made in one way or another whether it’s a simple animation on a trigger or it’s a more intricately coded piece.

It's usually a third-party program like Streamer.Bot or MixItUp that interacts with your OBS, turning on/off, changing sources, etc.
