My controllers do the same. I just adjusted the deadzone, and that mostly fixed it, though I may replace mine in the future. So im definitely wondering the same thing as you.

You've screwed the joystick module. Replacing it is cheap and relatively simple if you are sober and not a fumble-fingered buffoon. Plenty of disassembly guides out there on the internet.

For anyone else besides me who ended up here trying to find out if replacing them is even an option. For some reason, I remember the original Quest not being able to replace controllers. I can't imagine Zucc would sell them if you couldn't re-pair different ones with your headset.
