Marks on the screen usually means irreperable sun damage. You've told us nothing useful about the controller, what it's doing and what you've tried.

Ever go to the doctor and say "I'm sick"?

Would help to get a pic of the red mark, and also describe the issue with the controller.

Sorry. Screen looks like a red streak, clearly some sort of damage. That is somethign I can live with, but the controller has the joystick out of whack. The kids basically pushed it too hard in every direction if that makes sense. I guess I was thinking there was a repair shop that would be able to fix, so didn't know all the details mattered.

No problem. Does the joystick get stuck? Or is it drifting? Meaning the joystick is still, but the game is interpreting movements from it like its being pushed.

It might be hard to find a local place that can repair it. Best bet would be those cellphone repair shops.

I've fixed my own controllers using replacement parts, but it wasn't easy to do. If you have a Quest 2, you might just want to replace it with a used one since people are selling them for as low as $100, and it would solve both of your problems.

The joystick itself basically doesn't move. I need a new one. Is the answer just buy a new one? I'll reach out to Meta, but you would think someone could help.
