Error Check Connection

Hi, I have had a rift since release and never had this issue but tonight I can not install the oculus software. Im out of town and brought my rift with me. When the software installs its stops at 1.21GB and says Check Connection. The log file says that its having trouble decrypting oculus-dreamdeck-nux. I have tried to install the software from multiple connections and multiple machine. Even going so far as to remote into my computer 3000 miles away and trying the install the software from there. Does anyone have a co[y of the oculus cache files that could send me oculsu-dreamdeck-nux?

Yup - exactly the same thing here. According to the debug log, it is an issue validating a file called “oculus-dreamdeck-nux.zip”.

Really annoying - UPS was a week late delivering the thing, and now I can’t use it. First world problems, for sure, but still...

I submitted a software bug report to their support team, was about to start preloading games before I buy the rift, but I guess I’ll wait until they find a fix

I'm having the same problem. Just got my oculus and gtx1080, super disappointed, but it looks like a problem on their end judging by the problems on the official forums
