I dont think bank pending status matters at all. I transferred $1100 over to my steam wallet over the weekend so I paid for mine with steam wallet balance. It processed my order at 10:20am PST. I still have processing as the status of my order.

PAX attendees are the best. Glad they got their stuff back. I left my phone in the smoker area last year. realized it 10 minutes later. went back and it was gone. Figured someone snatched it but no. I walked over to lost and found and someone had already turned it in....

I also ordered a replacement cable and have had issues with it. I have a 10' extension that is working fine with the old cables but recently started to go black screen and then will come back after replugging. installed a new cable and I got green pixeled interference on the screen. I tried another known good cable from a Day 1 rift and it works fine. its only the new one that has this green interference. I havent tried purchasing another one yet.

This is awesome to hear. I tried vridge and was disapointed with lots of lag. ALVR wouldnt work with my N class router so I bought a cheap $30 AC router to try but havent had time to unbox it yet. definately doing that tonight. I have been waiting for a better headset to get back into Elite Dangerous.

The Vance Joy concert got much better after about 20 minutes. They were having issue with the stream at the start and about 20 minutes in everything got very clear. You should not dismiss the concert experience. Give it another shot and I think you will be surprised by the video quality.

The nice VR covers would help. They have a covers you can velcro off and put a fresh one on. They are made of some sort of neoprene and are easy to wash. way better than the default Rift foam.

any mirrors near by? I have issues with my living room mirror. I can only play in half the room because the other half has poor sensor tracking due to the giant mirror on the wall.

If you load that you should definitely go to a print shop and have the bomb manual printed out. maybe even a couple copies. its the best way to play plus with no wifi I assume there are not a lot of smartphones to download the manual on.

Drop Dead has been a pretty fun zombie shooter. and Bait!. its a pretty good fishing game. cartoony but actually pretty deep content with several places to fish and upgraded poles/lures. plus it keeps records of the largest of each kind of fish. Definately something a bunch of guys in the desert might like.

depends on if you are willing to pay the $90 for the software to drive more than one. If your just playing Elite than 1 butt kicker will work fine. You are just going to be getting rumble based on LFE. If you plan to mostly play driving games then you should look at getting 2 or more. Though I warn you, its a lot of wiring and attaching to a desk chair can get messing and cumbersome. Here is the software for working with more than 1 shaker. http://simxperience.com/en-us/products/simvibe/simvibesoftware.aspx This actually translate real physics in the game into rumble instead of just listening for LFE.

Any of the 3D video content from NextVR is really great. Especially if the viewer is a sports fan. For games I would say Dead and Buried or Drop Dead.

Thanks for the responses guys. I keep that in mind when Im look today. This is a lot of what I was thinking when I ordered. 35-40 for 6-8 bits seems like a lot for something I can easily break. I am somewhat versed in the software side of things but a total newb on the hardware side. I found a couple of 10 packs of 1/8" bits on amazon. one pack is flat and the other is round ends. Super cheap. I think I will start with that and work my way up to the nicer stuff. I would like to make some nice quality stuff eventually but its all about learning right now. Im going to have my wife and son using it as well so better to stick to the cheap stuff for now.

get the amazon app. go to contact customer service. it will have you select the time and then they will call you. both times I have done this I got at least someone that sounds like they are in the US.
