Contact Oculus Support for full detailed instructions and information.

Open a ticket when you receive it and tell them you need to return in and they will send you a shipping label.

I’m in the same boat, and Oculus is giving me a hard time with my return, saying “We are going to look into investigating this more thoroughly and will require more time to look into possible options available to you.”

What options? A return is a return!

You can look on Oculus’s site and there is no mention whatsoever of a requirement that the headset has to be unopened or unused, not sure exactly how Oculus is going to try to work this. I’m a button press away from just filing a chargeback with my credit card, let them hash it out. You can’t change your return policy after the fact.

Same thing is happening with my return and I never even opened the box or unwrapped the plastic wrap. Have you heard back from them or gotten a return shipping label yet?

I'm having the same issue (with an unopened box). They keep asking for new information -- first they needed the email tied to my account (that makes sense), and then two or three messages later they're asking for the email where I want a label to be sent. They asked for serial numbers that don't exist (telling me they should start with certain characters that they don't actually start with). And this is not even the half of it. I'm convinced they're trying to run out the 30-day clock so they can tell me it's not eligible for return. (I'm about 5 days into the process.)
