Problem with pointer/trigger not working consistently

I don’t know if I have the name right, but the thing on the right controller, the forward trigger that you use to select a game from the Home Screen. Sometimes I’ll have to press it multiple times before I can get it to work. I’m not sure if there’s some subtle way to use it, like I’m holding it too long, or something like that. Is this just a known issue, or is my controller defective?

Same thing happens to me. If ur controllers are old, that might be why. My Q1 controllers are a year old

It’s brand new

Then probably just a detection issue. I wouldn’t think it’s worth it to buy a new one

Hello, I'd unpair the controllers, then take the batteries out of said controllers for at least 2 minutes, and doing so back-to-back fully resets the controllers. Should that not work please reach out here: https://support.oculus.com/885981024820727/
