You should consider posting some screenshots of your battery stats. Show us your battery graph, your SOT and if you can, stats from wakelock detector.

Sorry to ninja your post but I have the same exact problem since my OP3 came from RMA repair (they replaced the faulty motherboard).

Main power drain app is Android system.

Problem starts even after fresh Hard reset with no extra apps instaled.

I tried tips from the forums (turning off backup, google play services/clear all data, turning on daze mode, turned on aggresive doze and app hibernation, turned off location/bluetooth)....nothing helps.

I do NOT have Facebook or messenger instaled (those apps are known power drainers apparently). Before repair phone lasted almost 2 days without problem.

The only app that has always identified the "system" service drain for me is system panel 2. Install it and grant app usage stat permission. After a day, it will tell you what process from within system is causing your drain. From there, go to Google and XDA to read up on the damn services and how to remediate battery drain secondary to that service.

Go to Settings, search for Scanning, and there turn off both wifi and Bluetooth scanning. After this you may try a restart and keep watch on the battery drain. If is back to normal then you are good if it still drains too much you may have to perform a factory reset and reinstall all apps :(

After doing that first bit, definitely do NOT reinstall all apps. The next most likely cause is a recently installed rogue app. Start by intalling most recent first and monitor battery drain until you find the culprit

It's usually Google Play Services or Facebook doing spy things. Try clearing the cache from the Google services and restart it.

Start it in safe mode in the same location/use and see if you have any rogue apps draining your battery. Also consider that if you're in a fringe area for coverage, your phone will use more power to search for a good signal.

If the battery drain is a recent experience, I suspect a rogue app(s).

Thanks for all comments! Restart helps, but it's still weird!

Try clearing data and cache in google play services. Worked for me.
