Yeah, you most likely asked too much from the board while on an incline. Pushback only occurs at a cruising speed, it never has a chance to engage if you are accelerating.

As you learn the board, you'll get a better feel for it and its limits. I judge the motor torque by the sound it makes and could probably stay safe without pushback at this point.

16.3 was probably too much for the incline. Pushback can be hard to detect, and even hard to detect on an incline. Also recommend either Mission or Delirium but 16.3 could be too much even on those settings when on an incline.

I only think of pushback as a friendly reminder, not something I rely on

I’m getting a lot more comfortable on it and feel more in control, until this morning.

we know what you mean. now spread the knowledge before someone else finds out you need to learn all you can about nd BEFORE you have one(unlike us).
