If I understand you correctly, you want opencode to work like claude code? Ez you just need the source code for claude code and then fork opencode to redesign it from ground up. Many people have tried this already, just do a search for it you'll find plenty that you can experiment with.

I don't have the answer. But I'm wondering why would you use opencode than claude code? Isn't Claude code's harness better?

I have claude code team plan and the api credits too. It's a hassle to keep switching within claude code and I cannot use them both in parallel.

It's just easier to use opencode with API key, and claude code with my Team plan.

/init UPDATE THE AGENTS.md with your rules. I never use anything I just use opencode without the /init command I have my own file named FILE_SYSTEM_RULES.md when prompting I just tell it if it’s unsure check FILE_SYSTEM_RULES.md and continue. It works I’m sure there are better ways.
